Hello Meazzi Friends,
can you tell me the exact length for Meazzi tape loops? Can you also recommend a reliable source for replacement tape loops?

I bought me a Meazzi Concertorama and restored it electronically - sounds wonderfull now and the echo is free of any noises or hiss. Unfortunately the motor seems a bit week and hence runs a bit warbly. I think that the tape loop is a self-made one and might be slightly to short - hence pressure on the rubber wheel might be to high and cause the problem.

Admin reply: I'll

measure the loop on my factotum today and let you know!

Great site, for great amplifiers -advanced for their time
70'-early 80's. Combo amplifiers speakers AND multi tap echo was not something common then. Not to mention its portability, durability, sound (although all transistor)and
affordable price.
I was member of a group (bass player)and my best friend (keyboard player)owned a Meazzi Olimpia 555- I still remember its crisp,full-bodied sound. (Dont forget we are talking about 70's standards. As Technician I remember that it was too easy to fix any problem might occur inside this amp. Too bad they are almost forgotten now.

Admin reply: Hi,

I've a lot more info to post on this site, but it's a case of finding time to do it as always. The main intention of the site was for the Meazzi Echo units, but the amps were added as well.

Thanks for the comments!!

hi,

I have a tape echo form m3Emthree! It is the Minimax.

Not much to find about it!

But the tape echo module looks like the early version of the Meazzi echo 9000!

THe tape echo is broken! tape runs but no echo is produced!

Can anyone help me! Schematics tips, ideas?

Thx
